The Jagiellonian University is happy to announce the
2013 European Winter Conference on Plasma Spectrochemistry
which will be held on February 10 - 15, 2013 in Krakow, Poland.
This conference series is a recognized forum of exchange on all the topics concerning analytical plasma spectrochemistry, including fundamentals and instrumentation, sample introduction techniques, laser ablation, isotopic analysis, speciation, quality control and industrial applications.
The meeting is expecting more than 500 participants from academia, governmental laboratories and industry. The scientific program includes workshops, 5 heritage lectures given by the classics of plasma source spectroscopy, 15 plenary and keynote lectures reflecting the state-of-the-art of the field and about 100 of oral communications. The conference will be held in Auditorium Maximum, a modern conference and exhibition centre of the Jagiellonian University.
As always, the exhibition of scientific instrumentation and laboratory equipment will have the preponderant place. Its setting in the space shared with the poster sessions, coffee breaks and lunches, adjacent to the lecture halls will assure the closest possible interaction of the participants and exhibitors.
