The Erasmus Programme
The Erasmus Programme (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) was established in 1987. It is a European Union student exchange programme, which since 2007 is a major part of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme (2007-2013) and is the operational framework for the European Union initiatives in higher education.
