The conference was the seventh in the series "Current Trends in Theoretical Chemistry". The previous six meetings took place in 1984, 1987, 1990, 2002, 2008 and 2013.

Topics addressed at the conference included (among others):

The sessions on Thursday, September 8th, were organized jointly with the ECOSTBio "Explicit Control Over Spin-states in Technology and Biochemistry" workshop.
