The conference will take place in Krakow, an ancient capital of Poland. Krakow is one of the top tourist destinations in Europe. More than 2 millions foreign tourists and 5 million domestic tourists visit Krakow every year. Unique architecture and the national treasures are the main attractions. Due to many pubs, clubs and restaurants Krakow is full of life throughout the whole year. Krakow plays also the role of cultural center of Poland.

Kraków has a long historical tradition of culture and science. Its old centre is on the UNESCO List of World Heritage. Resplendent with historical monuments, it offers a unique atmosphere both for regular sight-seeing and for leisurely strolls. The Tatra Mountains and The Salt Mine in Wieliczka are other places in the region that would be worth visiting. All these tourist attractions make Kraków one of the favourite destinations in Europe.

The Jagiellonian University, founded in 1364, is the oldest one in this part of Europe (Nicolas Copernicus was one of its students). Its ancient buildings, dating back to the 14th century, accommodate The University Museum.

The conference site is the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Chemistry building, Gronostajowa 2. Notice that the location of Faculty of Chemistry was moved to a new Campus.
