CONFERENCES

My research over the last ten years has focused on new materials for medical applications – potential antitumour drugs and biocidal agents. Generally, the research concentrates on preparation, physicochemical characterization and evaluation of biological activity of new biomaterials and metal complexes.

Specific research areas:

 1)                  New materials exhibiting antibacterial activity against antibiotic resistant bacterial strains  <more information>

 2)                  New complexes of ruthenium and copper with potential biological activity <more information>

 3)                  Composite materials and coatings designed as drug delivery systems for antibacterial, antifungal and antitumour therapies and diagnostics <more information>
