Description of the project

The TEAM members will develop and study the nano(micro) structural materials for biomedical applications. The work will be organized around four specific subject areas:
♦ nanostructural polymeric scaffolds for cell proliferation and tissue engineering
♦ nano(micro) capsules and spheres for controlled drug delivery
♦ nanocoatings for protection and manipulation of fragile bioobjects (cells, tissues)
♦ photoactive nanostructures for Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)

Three student positions are available - 1000 PLN/month

Duration of the program: since July 1, 2012 - February 28, 2013

The requirements for the candidates interested in the above fields of research:

♦ completion of at least 3^rd year in chemistry, material science, or related fields,
♦ good record in physical chemistry,
♦ good command in English.

The deadline for applications is June 22, 2012.

Recruitment procedure

Recruitment for the project will be carried out in an open, two-step procedure.

1^st step

The first step of the recruitment is based on the applications submitted.

2^nd step

The second step of the recruitment procedure - interview of the selected candidates (in English or Polish) - will be carried out on June 26, 2012 (Tuesday) at 12:00, Faculty of Chemistry, Ingardena 3, room 155. Successful candidates will be notified till June 29, 2012.
